Meet the
Missionary Sisters

The Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an international missionary congregation of women religious present on six continents and in seventeen countries of the world.

The Missionary Sisters were founded by Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini in 1880 with the purpose to bear witness to the love of God in the world.

The Congregation is comprised of three provinces, two regions and one mission. The countries where the Sisters serve include Australia, the Philippines, and the United States. The Sisters also serve in Western Europe, and Central and South America and Africa. The Sisters partner with laity in all their ministries; the Cabrinian family now includes Cabrini Lay Missionaries, volunteers, and committed professionals who administer their worldwide institutions and ministries.
